Great straightener! but...

If you have shoulder length or longer hair, I recommend a wider straightener. The 1 inch just doesn't flatten as well... Therefore, I was a little disappointed with it.

I really like my Solia straightener. I just had a classmate with "perfect" hair tell me that my hair looks better than it ever has. I try it after this hair straightener was really hot quickly!

This flat iron possessed all the things I was looking for: a plate with as small width for my short hair, ion technology for a shinier result and wet/dry capability for when i'm on the run and don't have time to blow dry my hair before using the flat iron. It heats up right away... thank you!

My hair is very curly and it would normally take me around 2 hours to straighten because I would have to blow dry it straight then use a straightener. Even after I had worked on it for hours it wouldn't be completely straight and any contact with humidity would cause it to frizz up. I was so happy when I bought the Solia straightener because it made the work so much easier. I was really happy with the size of it. It made the process much faster. Like for example today I woke up and my hair was completely curly. I was able to completely straighten it in a ½ hour. And I got caught in a drizzle and my hair didn't frizz. I was really happy with my purchase.

I purchased this product after reading other reviews and I have not been disappointed. It straightens hair beautifully. I don't have to re-straighten it to make sure it is done correctly. And I have used it on my 12 year old daughter with no complaints from hair pulling. She is a real tender-head too!
I also love the fact that it heats up instantly. No long waiting for it to warm up...
You will be very pleased with this hair straightener, price + quality = the perfect bargain!
