I have had this straightner for over three years now. I have straight hair so it gets the job done but it takes me about 15 minutes which is rediculously long as my hair barley needs it at all. i find it pulls my hair quite a bit and it does give me hair damage. Also, I feel it makes my hair look thin, my friends straightners do the job but leave your hair looking thick and with body....this one definatly doesn't do it. I got mine at the local supermarket (superstore) but it was years ago. it also takes forever to heat up so i wouldn't suggest it. the plates are really thick too so you cant curl your hair and if you have layers like me it doesnt let the layers fall flat against eachother (they flare out despite trying to turn it under)
where ?

It gets really hot really fast, and it DOES straighten it really well, but for my thick asian hair, it comes back to the original way it was about 3-4 hours later.

It doesnt really work too well on my hair, and it can pull on hair a lot. It works great on my sister's hair though, so I would suggest finding someone that has one and trying it out before you buy it...
best ever

This is the best straighter I have ever owned, I have curly, frizzy, long hair that is almost to my waist, and this is the best one I have ever owned hands down.
Mine is also like 4 or 5 years old and still works like the day I bought it, I have talked my friends into it also and everyone who has bought it loves it.

Now I have used that straightener. I have VERY thick curly hair. It will do the job, but it takes longer than necissary. And is TERRIBLE FOR YOUR HAIR. so unless you want frazzled, dry, split ends, dont use this. I used this one for years before i finally invested in a chi and now a herstyler (not shown on this website). The difference is amazing and it keeps your hair HEALTHY.
Best straightener ever

First of all... I have the frizziest and most unmanageable hair. This straightener is the only one that i have found that works on my hair type. I have tried one that is sold in the middle of our mall, it costs over $100, yet doesn't work as well as this one. I've also tried many other ones including bedhead straighteners and other higher priced items. This is the only one that gets hot enough for my type of hair. I have bought this straightener over and over again. It may break kinda easy, but its so cheap I just buy a new one. I am currently on my 4th one in about 5 years. Now its hard to even find a place that sells them around here.
