MAXIglide By Maxius Hair Straightener

I bought my origial one about 2 years ago, and about 9 mos in it just stopped working. Lucky for me I was still under the warranty period. Now about a year into my SECOND one it just stopped (and halfway thru a stying none the less!!) I was kind of expecting to get more than a years use out of it for what I paid. As my Wal-Mart Conair was still alive and well after 5 years. Loved the way it actually works though when it works.

After "borrowing" my mom's Maxiglide one too many times, Santa brought me my own. Long story short, if you're looking for a quick and easy-to-use straightener, then this is the product for you. Seriously, I have no patience to mess with my hair in the morning. In about 5 minutes, my wavy hair is super straight. Add a little smoothing serum and I have the hair I've always wanted. People can't believe that my hair isn't naturally straight. Plus, in the 3 years I've owned it, I've only burned my ear once...probably because I was half asleep, so that's more my fault than the Maxiglide's.

I have been using the Maxi Glide now for 3 1/2 years and I love it. It's a great investment for anyone who doesn't have time to spend on their hair. Less time spent on my hair and lots of compliments for the finished product. Thanks Maxi Glide.

i got the maxi glide 2 years ago and it was great for awhile.then just the other day i went to plug it up and i looked and the plates were rusted.yeah i wouldnt buy it ever again

I'm black, white and indian and I have very unruly hair and maxiglide has tamed well for the first 3 months. Then it seem as if it has lost what it had it just doesn't work as well as it used to. Then one day as I was taking the styling plate off the plastic broke.

i bought the maxiglide two years ago and i thought it was a great investment. the steamer part stopped working months ago and now the plug is fried. read the tiny print about having to reset and test everytime before you use and save your box and receipt just in case. for the price i thought it would last longer

I bought the Maxiglide about a year ago. It worked wonderfully at first. I liked how the teeth combed the hair as it straightened, but it also pulled a lot of hair out. The teeth also made it hard to clean, as the styling product that came with it left residue on the plates that constantly had to be scrubbed off with a toothbrush. I've had it for almost a year, used it maybe a total of 15-20 times, and it's toast. I have to go over the same section at least three times to get results, even at the highest setting. So i bought a Chi and it's awesome. and from what i hear, it will last a lot longer that a year.

I've had the maxiglide for two years and I absolutely love it. I have fine, curly hair and it's the only straightener that does not damage your hair and your hair stays straight in all kinds of weather. I highly recommend it.

this product is ok but u could do better

I bought the maxiglide around 2 months ago and it is the BEST investment I have EVER made! My hair has NEVER looked this fabulous! Thank you, Maxiglide hair straightener!
