The best I've used
Reviewer: Maggie from Ohio, August 15, 2008
I have very thick coarse hair and nothing really worked but when I got this I was amazed, it doesn't bother my arthritis, and it only takes me about 15 minutes to straighten all my hair, and my hair is down to my mid back...I got my entire family using it...
Not The Best

I've had this straighten for about a year. Although all of the functions and the heat have kept up their performance in that time, they weren't that great to begin with.
The time it takes for it to heat up is reasonable; anywhere from 30 secs to two minutes depending on the setting. The settings themselves range widely, offering a more personalized experience.
The main attraction of this straightener is its 'Wet 2 Dry' performance. This is not recommended in the least. When straightening my hair from slightly damp and with liberal use of hair protectant it made my whole head frizzy and uncontrollable.
On dry hair the straightener needed to be run through my thicker-than-average hair about three times per 2" strand. With the bulky weight of the product this was a challenge for my arms.
In conclusion, for the money this straightener could work wonderfully for thinner hair who have no intention of using the Wet 2 Dry feature.
