I did a lot of research before buying this product. I have very thick wavy hair which is hard to control. At first I thought this was a miracle straightner. My hair was perfect! Then I walked out the door, got to wear I was going and looked in the mirror. My hair was far worse than ever before the frizz was undescribably horrible. I continued to use it and still do on rare occasion for lack of another straightner. However my hair is always uncontrolably frizzy for the entire day after I straighten it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which straightner I should try next?

Amazing CHI

This iron is absolutely amazing. I have really thick, curly hair, and I always had to wear it curly, or up in a ponytail, because if I tried to straighten it with a blowdrier, no matter what kind of brush I used, or what kind of products I used, it would end up a big poufy mess. Well let me tell you, this iron exceeded all of my expectations, and then some. I had one other straightener before this one, and it was a total letdown. But this one straightens my hair is one pass, at about medium heat. It heats up in no time. My hair stays straight and smooth through almost anything. Even in high humidity, you would never be able to tell that my hair wasn't naturally straight. I've owned it for about 9 months, and I don't think I could live without it.

CHI makes a great product. This product is just wonderful for people with wavy to curly hair who are on the go and want their hair beautiful, straight and shiny in seconds. I've been using CHI for two years and I am very very happy.

I cannot tell you how much I love this product! I have that stubborn 'fine' hair that has a mind of its own and I've used the cheap store flat irons, and they have absolutely no effect. My hair has a tendency to curl on its own and I've tried everything to tame it. My sister bought this product at a salon store and she loves it. Well I borrowed hers and this thing straightens my hair like a hot knife through butter. I'm going to buy myself this iron so I won't have to keep borrowing my sister's. Just by reading the other reviewers tells you that you can't go wrong!
